AFCON 2025
The camp of the CHAN Eagles has officially opened in Ikenne, Ogun State ahead of the 8th edition of the African Nations Championships next month.
The CHAN Eagles are camped at the Remo Stars Sports Club facility where the players held their first training session on Wednesday.
Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ilechukwu took charge of the training session yesterday and 20 players took part.
Notable absentees include Remo Stars’ defender Ismail Sodiq, Enyimba duo Ozoemena Henry, Imoh Obot, Nasarawa United’s duo, Victor Collins, Anas Yusuf, and Abia Warriors’ striker, Sunday Megwo.
Remo Stars defender, Ismail Sodiq is close joining Albanian side FK Partizani this January which put his appearance at the tournament under doubt.
The CHAN Eagles will continue training at pitch 4 of the Remos Stars training complex.
The draw for the African Nations Championship will hold on 15 January in Nairobi.
