Remo Stars’ Alex Oyowah also missed his spot kick moments later as Shooting Stars’ Mustapha Lawal pulled off an impressive save to deny him.
Enugu Rangers’ Godwin Obaje doubled the lead for the CHAN Eagles in the second half but his goal was ruled off for offside.
The match ended 1-0 as the CHAN Eagles continue to prepare for the Championship of African Nations later next month.
