Chelsea are on the verge of making history as they take on Real Betis in the final of the UEFA Conference League.
Enzo Maresca’s men beat Swedish side Djurgarden 5-1 on aggregate to qualify for the final of European clubs’ third-tier competition.
The Blues did the damage in the first leg with a comprehensive 4-1 win, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s lone goal wrapped up the tie in the second leg at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile Real Betis got the better of Fiorentina 4-3 on aggregate to progress to the final. Manchester United on loan winger, Anthony scored in both legs to help Manuel Pellegrino’s book their first European final.
The first leg ended in a 2-1 win for Real Betis in Seville while the second leg ended in a two-all draw as Betis qualified 4-3 on aggregate.
Real Betis and Chelsea will face-off in the final in Wroclaw, Poland on 28 May as the Blues look to make history.
Chelsea could become the first team in history to win the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League if they win the final against Real Betis.
