Chelsea will take on Manchester City in the final of the FA Cup after going past Leeds United at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
Enzo Fernandez scored the only goal of the game in the first half to send the Blues to their first final appearance since 2022.
The Argentine midfielder placed a header into the back of the net 23 minutes after kick-off from a Pedro Neto cross into the box.
The match was laced with a major controversy after the video assistant referee waved off incident that saw Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin pulled Marc Cucurella’s hair
Leeds United started the game with great intention to go ahead as Brenden Aaronson forced a save off Robert Sanchez.
Robert Sanchez also made a crucial late save in the second half to protect Chelsea’s lead as the Blues sealed an FA final spot days after the departure of Liam Rosenoir.
The win also ended Chelsea’s scoreless streak after five games with Enzo Fernández’s goal in the first half.
Chelsea will go head-to-head against Manchester for a chance to qualify for Europe next season after a disappointing league campaign in recent games which has them drop out of the automatic qualification spots.
