Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie says she is going to welcome Zadok Yohanna in the best possible way after signing for the men’s team.
The Brighton and Hove Albion Women’s goalkeeper revealed that she is delighted to have a Nigerian at the club and promised to help him settle into the club as quickly as possible.
She also pledged to take the 18-year-old forward on sightseeing trips, to restaurants, and other fun places in the city once he arrives for the start of the new season.
“The men’s and women’s teams have bonding events where they pair players based on their nationality. For example, if there is a player from a specific country on our team and a counterpart on the men’s team, they pair us together so we can chat. It’s great to have a fellow Nigerian to connect with.”
“The best part is that we live in the same compound, so we will see each other often. I plan to welcome him properly, help him however I can, 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬—things like that. I’m truly happy for him and glad to have another Nigerian at the club.”.
Zadok Yohanna joined Brighton last week for €28m from AIK Stockholm after an impressive outing with the Swedish club.
