Samuel Chukwueze was on the bench for the entire duration of AC Milan’s famous victory at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.

The Super Eagles winger cheered his teammates from the bench as the seven-time European champions thrash Real Madrid 3-1 at the Bernabeau.

Christian Pulisic who played in place of Chukwueze on the right flank had a fantastic performance as he probided the assist for Malick Thiaw’s opener.

Vinicius Jr restored parity for the champions from a penalty kick on the 23rd minute after a foul in the box.

While Real Madrid created goal-scoring chances without conversion, the visitors did the exact opposite.

Alvaro Morata marked his return to the Santiago Bernabeu with a goal as the former Real Madrid striker restored the lead for AC Milan a few minutes before halftime.

The 32-year-old striker smashed a rebound into the back of the net to register his first goal in the competition this season.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid nemesis on the night was converting their chances as they attempted to get back into the game.

Unfortunately, Dutch midfielder Tijani Reijnders sealed the win for the Roseneri with calm finish from Rafael Leao’s pass.

Even though Chukwueze didn’t get the chance to implicit damage on Re Madrid just like he always did while at Villarreal, the forward would be pleased with his team’s famous win at the home of the defending champions.
