Samuel Chukwueze and AC Milan were held to goalless draw by Genoa at the San Siro on Sunday night.
Milan dominated early on with Emerson Royal seeing his goal bound effort saved by Genoa goalkeeper, Nicola Leali. Chukwueze had the chance to break the deadlock in the 24th minute but his effort went wide of the left hand post, with the first half ending goalless.
In the second half, substitute Álvaro Morata dribbled through the Genoa defence before firing over in the 76th minute and then hit the bar three minutes later.
Milan, who were celebrating the anniversary of their founding on Dec. 16 1899, remain eighth in the standings on 23 points from 15 games, eight points adrift of the top four.
