Samuel Chukwueze had a decent performance in AC Milan’s narrow win over Crvena Zvezda at the San Siro on Wednesday night.
Chukwueze came in as substitute early in the match as he replaced English midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The Nigerian winger had another opportunity to score his first Champions League goal of the season but was quite unlucky.
Chukwueze came close in two occasions in the second half but his shots towards goal were blocked.
However, the winger helped in helping his team maintain possession and stretching of the oppositions defense line.
Rafael Leao and Tammy Abraham got in the scoresheet to help Milan secure a narrow 2-1 over the Serbian side.
Tammy Abraham’s goal was confirmed by VAR after a short period of delay.
AC Milan are currently 12th on the log with 12 points from six matches as they look to qualify automatically for the second round without giving through the playoffs.
