Samuel Chukwueze had only 20 minutes of game in AC Milan’s impressive win over Empoli at San Siro on Saturday evening.
The Super Eagles forward came on as a second half substitute as the Rosenneri secured a 3-0 win to extend their unbeaten run to six in all competition.
Chukwueze came on for Yunus Musah in the 75th minute and had a shot towards goal but went off target.
The 25-year-old came with the hope of getting his second Serie A goal but the damage had already been done before he stepped into the pitch.
A brace from Tijjani Reijnders and Alvaro Morato enaured the home side secured three points at San Siro.
Chukwueze will look at getting on the scoresheet when AC Milan welcome Sassuolo in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday.
The victory put AC Milan on 7th spot on the Serie A log with 22 points after 17 matches.
