Manchester United have reportedly completed the signing of Colombian midfield prodigy Cristian Orozco.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says the deal is worth $1m and the 17-year-old playmaker will join the Red Devils in the summer of 2026.

Cristian Orozco is one of the most promising young midfielders out of South America, and has already captained the Colombian Under-17 team to the 2025 South American U-17 Championship.

  • Giuseppe Antonaccio, one of Manchester United’s scouts, identified Orozco’s potential even though he had yet to make his senior debut.
  • Orozco has been brought in to strengthen United’s midfield, where both Casemiro and Ugarte have struggled to make a significant impact.
  • Cristian Orozco was born on July 13, 2008. Cristian Orozco is 17 years old. He plays as a defensive midfielder.
  • Orozco began his career with Rojo FC in Colombia before joining CEIF Fortaleza this summer.
  • He has been the captain of the Colombia U-17 national team since January 2025 and played all matches as Colombia lost the South American U-17 Championship to Brazil in the final in March.
