Cyriel Dessers only spent 15 mimutes on the pitch but could have given Rangers a late win over Tottenham Hotspur on matchday 6 of the Europa League.
Dessers came on as a second half substitute on the 79th minute and had an instant impact in the match for Rangers.
The 30-year-old striker replaced Moroccan forward Hamza Igamanae who scored Rangers’ only goal of the match.
Igamane scored two minutes into the second half from a well-taken volley which landed in the bottom right-corner of the net.
The home side held on to the slim lead until the 75th minute when Dejan Kuluaevsky latched unto a pass and powered the ball into goal.
Dessers’ introduction gave Rangers a lifeline as he forced a save off Fraser Forster after beating two defenders in the box.
A few minutes later, the Nigerian striker eventually put the ball in the back of the net but the celebrations from the home fans was cut short.

Cyriel Dessers will look to add to his goal tally when Rangers take on Manchester United and Royale Union in their final round of matches in the league series.
The match ended one-all as both teams settled for a point each.
