Fisayo Dele-Bashiru got on the scoresheet in Lazio’s impressive away win over Ajax Amsterdam at the Johan Cryuff Arena on Thursday night.
The Nigerian midfielder featured for 90 minutes as Marco Baroni’s men left Amsterdam with a convincing 3-1 win.
Dele-Bashiru started in for Lazio for the fourth consecutive game and rewarded Baroni’s faith in him with a goal on the night.
The 23-year-old midfielder started alongside Nicolo Rovella in midfield and had a very impressive performance.
Dele-Bashiru scored on the 52nd minute to restore Lazio’s lead as he latched on to Mattia Zaccagni’s pass before burying the ball beyond the reach of the goalkeeper.
Former Spanish winger, Pedro put the game beyond reach for Ajax with a brilliant strike outside the box to give the visitors a 3-1 win lead.
