Egypt 2–2 Ghana (Egypt win 5–4 on penalties)
In a dramatic encounter at the New Suez Stadium, hosts Egypt faced Ghana in a match that ended 2–2 after extra time. The game proceeded to penalties, where Egypt emerged victorious with a 5–4 scoreline. This win not only propelled Egypt into the semi-finals but also secured their qualification for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Morocco 1–0 Sierra Leone (After Extra Time)
Morocco faced tournament debutants Sierra Leone at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium in Cairo.
The match was tightly contested, with Sierra Leone displaying resilience despite being reduced to ten men in regulation time. The deadlock was broken in the 115th minute of extra time when an own goal by Amara Keita handed Morocco a 1–0 victory.
This win secured Morocco’s place in the semi-finals and a ticket to the U-20 World Cup.
South Africa 1–0 DR Congo

In the final quarter-final match, South Africa’s Amajita edged past DR Congo with a narrow 1–0 victory. The win ensured South Africa’s progression to the semi-finals and qualification for the FIFA U-20 World CCup.l
