Eintracht Frankfurt have completed the signing of Nigeria international Raphael Onyedika from Belgian champions Club Brugge, with the defensive midfielder putting pen to paper on a contract running until June 2031.
The Bundesliga side beat off late interest from Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad to land their long-term target, with the deal worth an initial €9m that could rise to €10m with add-ons.
Onyedika joined Brugge from Danish side FC Midtjylland in 2022 and went on to win two Belgian Pro League titles, the Belgian Cup, and the Belgian Super Cup during his time in Bruges.
Frankfurt sport board member Markus Krösche praised the 25-year-old’s physicality, tactical understanding, and consistency, calling him an important building block for the squad going forward.

The Super Eagles star becomes Frankfurt’s second midfield signing of the summer, joining Noël Aséko as the club strengthens its options ahead of the new season.
