Undefeated Nigerian boxer, Elizabeth Oshoba (9-0, 5 KOs) will make her much-anticipated American debut on August 22 when she faces Melissa Oddessa Parker (6-3-1, 2 KOs) at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.

The featherweight showdown is part of the Most Valuable Prospects 14 card promoted by MVP Promotions and streamed live on DAZN.

Oshoba, 26, is currently the IBF’s top-ranked featherweight contender and is widely regarded as one of the rising stars in women’s boxing.

She began her boxing journey at the age of 13 and rose through the amateur ranks, winning six national titles and securing a silver medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Since turning professional in the UK in 2022, she has maintained an unblemished record and claimed the IBO super featherweight title. Her last two wins came against Lenka Volejnikova and Agustina Rojas, both of whom she defeated convincingly.

Her opponent, Melissa Oddessa Parker, brings experience and grit to the ring. The American boxer has six wins, including two by knockout, and is known for her durability and aggressive style. Parker recently fought to a draw in a split decision for the NABF featherweight title, showing her ability to compete at a high level.

A win in Orlando would not only boost her international profile but also solidify her position among the elite in the featherweight division.
