Al Masry took an early lead in the 8th minute when Mohamed Hashem found the back of the net, capitalizing on a well-placed assist from Karim El Ghandour.
Enyimba responded swiftly in the second half, equalizing in the 47th minute through a goal by Ifeanyi Ihemekwele.
Mahmouf Hamada sqaundered the chance to restore the visitors’ lead after missing a penalty in the 67th minute.
This result leaves Enyimba in 3rd place and Al Masry in 2nd place in Group D.
Enyimba will look to build on this performance as they prepare to face Zamalek SC in their next group stage match on January 19, 2025.
Al Masry, meanwhile, will aim to secure a victory in their upcoming fixture against Black Bulls on the same date.
