Chelsea-bound forward Estevao Willian is confident he can fight for a starting spot when he arrives at Stamford Bridge.

The 17-year-old youngster is Brazil’s brightest young talent and broke Neymar’s Brasileirao record for the most goal involvements by a player aged 17 or younger in October, has already agreed to join the Blues next summer.

When asked about the intense competition for places at Chelsea, Willian told ESPN:

“Chelsea signing many players? No problems, I’m ready to compete for my place. I go there to start healthy competition and get my place.

“That’s why Chelsea is the best choice. I have zero doubts.”

Willian, who primarily plays on the right wing for Palmerias, will face stiff competition from the likes of Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke, and occasionally Cole Palmer.

However, his exceptional talent suggests he has every reason to back himself, and reports indicate that Chelsea are acquiring one of the world’s top young talents.
