Nottingham Forest made it to the next round of the FA Cup thanks to a 2-0 win over Luton Town.
Super Eagles star Taiwo Awoniyi was rewarded with a starting role in Nottingham Forest’s starting lineup after his impressive goal against Wolves at the weekend.
However, Ola Aina was rested and omitted from the team sheet, with the manager likely saving him for their upcoming clash against Liverpool.
Forest dominated the game, controlling possession throughout the first half.
Despite their superiority, they had to wait until the 40th minute to break the deadlock. Ramon Sosa’s pinpoint inswinging cross from the left was met by Ryan Yates, who headed the ball home with a well-timed stooping effort.
