Super Falcons defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has signed a contract extension with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad until 2027.
The 26-year-old moved to the Middle East on a free transfer in 2023 after her departure from English side, Leicester City.

The announcement was made today via the club’s official X handle.
Plumptre, who has represented Nigeria at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, has been a key player for Ittihad Ladies, helping the team to achieve success in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.
The centre-back has been in fine form, scoring two goals and registering one assist for Lindsay Camila’s side this season.
The player sustained a cruciate ligament injury last year which kept her out of action for around six months and forced her to miss the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
