Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are reportedly planning for life after Victor Osimhen.

Despite the Nigerian striker’s impressive start to life in Turkey – four goals and four assists in seven games, there is an acceptance that he will depart at the end of the season.

To prepare for his departure, Galatasaray are eyeing another Super Eagles striker. According to football journalist Buchi Laba, the club is close to agreeing on a transfer for a Nigerian forward who plays in one of the top five European leagues.

The identity of the striker remains a mystery, but prominent Nigerian players in the top five European leagues include Paul Onuachu, Terem Moffi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Victor Boniface.

Galatasaray’s next move will become clear by January 2025 or next summer.

For now, Osimhen remains the focal point of their attack, and fans can expect more goals from him if he stays fit.

It’s a developing story, but one thing is certain – Galatasaray are gearing up for a significant change in their attacking lineup.
