Galatasaray move closer to Turkish Super League title with win at Trabzonspor

Galatasaray secured another win as they move closer to retaining their Turkish Super League title with three matches left.

The reigning champions secured a two-nil victory away at Trabzonspor ro maintain the the eight points gap between them and Fenerbahce.

Star striker Victor Osimhen was on display for the entirety of the match. He didn’t score but had a decent performance on the victory.

Fernando Muslera had quite a busy time in between the sticks as he kept Galatasaray in the game with a couple of saves in the first half.

The Uruguayan shot-stopper stopped Edin Visca and Batista Mendy from giving Trabzonspor the lead as he made two brilliant saves im quick succession.

Galatasaray eventually came into the game in the second half as Abdulkerim Bardakci powered a header from a corner into the net to put the visitors ahead.

Osimhen came close to bagging his 25th goal of the campaign but his header in the 77th minute wwnt narrowly off target.

Substitute Alvaro Morata secured the win as he doubled the lead minutes after steeping into the pitch.

Galatasaray secured a two-nil win as they edge closer to securing another league in with three matches left.

The defending champions have 86 points while Jose Mourinho’s Fernabache in second place have 78.
