Barcelona recently submitted a €100 million opening bid for the highly decorated Argentine, only for Atletico Madrid to reject it instantly — and even mock the offer on social media.
While the Catalan club plans to return with an improved bid in the €120–125 million range, Atletico’s combative stance indicates they will likely reject this second offer as well.
