Alejandro Garnacho has returned to Manchester United squad for the EFL Cup fixture away at Tottenham.
The Argentine youngstar alongside Marcus Rashford were left out of the squad as Manchester United beat city rivals Manchester City on Sunday.
Rashford said he felt hurt as he was left out of the squad for such a big clash but was delighted the team won at the Etihad.
Garnacho who won the FIFA Puskàs award for the best goal in 2024 on Tuesday travelled with the rest of the squad on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile Marcus Rashford once again was left out of the team as his potential move away from Old Trafford continues to gather momentum.
The Manchester United’s academy graduate in a chat with popular journalist Henry Winter on Monday said he’s ready for a “new challenge.”
Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim when asked if Garnacho and Rashford will be part of the squad for Tottenham, the 39-year-old said it depends on whether or not they train well.
The 27-year-old forward hasn’t done badly under the new manager. He has 3 goals in 6 matches.
The Red Devils will take on Tottenham on Thursday night as they look to qualify for the semi-finals of the EFL Cup.
