Former Manchester United forward, Mason Greenwood was unstoppable as Marseille took apart Le Havre on Saturday night.

Despite conceding first in the match, the former Manchester United winger led the onslaught on the visitors in a comprehensive comeback win.

Moroccan midfielder Yassine Ketchta put the host ahead in the 24th minute from a brilliant solo run into the box before unleashing the trigger.

However, the visitors got reduced to 10 men after Gautier Lloris stopped a goal-bound attempt with his hand.

Mason Greenwood stepped up and calmly converted the ball to restore parity for Marseille ten minutes before the break.

The 24-year-old winger went on to score a hat trick in the second half as Marseille tore their visitors apart in a 6-2 annihilation.

Mason Greenwood’s double brace takes him to six goals and two assists in seven Ligue 1 matches so far this season.

In other results Nice handed Lyon their third loss of the season in a narrow win for the host.

French defender, Melvin Bard, Morocco’s Sofiane Diop and Algeria’s Hicham Boudaoui got on the scoresheet as Nice edged the visitors 3-2 at the Allianz Riviera.

Meanwhile, Monaco’s poor run of form perisit going into the Champions League as they were held to a one-all draw away at Angers.
