Abdullah Kavukcu, Galatasaray’s vice president, has expressed the club’s frustration over Victor Osimhen’s transfer situation.
Kavukcu says the Super Eagles striker is yet to respond to the proposal of the club, as they have expressed keen interest in keeping him permanently.
He also reveals that the club has offered Osimhen a juicer offer than some of what other European suitors are offering the 26-year-old Nigerian striker.
Fanatik quoted Kavukcu as saying the club is running out of patience as it continues to wait to see if Victor Osimhen will accept the offer.
He keeps us waiting wait but time is running out. We’ve offered him figures higher than those proposed in Europe.”
Reports suggest that the reigning Turkish champions have a € 16 million offer on the table for Victor Osimhen, but the Nigerian striker prefers to play in one of Europe’s top five leagues, having rejected a better offer.
Victor Osimhen, two weeks ago, rejected Al Hilal’s €40m per season in wages proposal. However, the Saudi club are reportedly preparing a fresh offer to lure the striker.
Italian Serie A heavyweights Juventus are also interested in signing Osimhen, as the Napoli forward remains one of the major talking points of the summer transfer window.
