Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim aims to emulate Sir Alex Ferguson, targeting a 20-year tenure at Old Trafford.
The 40-year-old, who succeeded Erik ten Hag in November 2024, is preparing for his first full season after a tough stint, winning seven of 27 games, finishing 15th in the Premier League, and losing the Europa League final to Tottenham.
Amorim has strengthened the attack with Matheus Cunha (£62.5m, Wolves) and Bryan Mbeumo (£65m, Brentford).
Speaking of his plans for the future, Amorim confirmed his desire to coach United for the next two decades, emulating the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson, who managed the club for 27 years.

Amorim delivers verdict after Man Utd preseason win over Bournemouth

“Yes, I want to stay. I want to stay for another 20 years. That’s my goal, and I believe, I always believe.
“Something will happen. At some point, I’ll get lucky again. I’ve been very lucky throughout my managerial career so far. My idea is to stay here for many years, but we all know results will dictate that.”
