Kelechi Iheanacho made an impressive cameo off the bench in Celtic’s win over Hibernian on Sunday evening at Easter Road.
The Nigerian forward started from the bench and made an immediate impact grabbing the winner two minutes after he came on.
Daizen Maeda had earlier given Celtic the lead in the 41st minute after the hosts were reduced to ten men.
However, Joe Newell restored parity for the hosts in the third minute of added time as the first half ended a goal apiece.
The tie was headed from a draw until the introduction of Kelechi Iheanacho in the 70th minute of the game.
Iheanacho got to the end of a cross from a corner-kick and powered the ball into the back of the net to secure Celtic’s second win in the Championship Group.
The win takes the defending champions to the second spot as they level on points with Hearts who take on Rangers tomorrow.
