George Ilenihkena’s sublime strike against Ronaldo’s Al Nassr has been voted the Saudi Pro League Goal of the Week. The 20-year-old scored twice during the encounter, opening the scoring in the fourth minute before doubling his side’s advantage in the 22nd minute.
Angelo Gabriel later reduced the deficit for Al-Nassr, but Ilenikhena’s second goal proved enough to secure the victory for Al-Ittihad.
The award caps a productive start to the Saudi Pro League campaign, with Ilenikhena now boasting four goals to his name.
He followed his performance against Al-Nassr with another goal in Al-Ittihad’s 2-1 victory over Al-Fayha on Tuesday evening.

IGeorge Ilenikhena joined Al-Ittihad from Monaco in February 2026, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Saudi club.
His recent performances could strengthen his case for a maiden senior Super Eagles invitation as Nigeria prepares for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures scheduled for this month.
Ilenikhena has been reportedly included in Eric Chelle’s provisional list for the qualifiers with Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu set to miss the games due to injuries.
The forward could also come under consideration for Nigeria’s upcoming international friendly against Russia on October 6.
