Arsenal Football Club has sent social media into a discussion after releasing a cryptic teaser featuring two of the biggest icons in global culture: Bukayo Saka and Grammy-winning superstar Tems.
The viral clip, shared by the club’s official accounts, shows the Gunners’ “Starboy” and the Nigerian soulful hitmaker at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. While the specific nature of the project remains under wraps, the video has sparked feverish speculation about a potential musical collaboration or a major 2026 brand campaign.
In the footage, Tems is seen in the recording booth, greeting Saka and the production team with the ease of a studio veteran. The atmosphere is thick with “production vibes,” as the two are shown deep in conversation over tracks.
“I’m pressing record now. Are you ready?” Tems asks in the clip, to which a smiling Saka responds, “I’m ready.”
Tems then adds, “Welcome to Abbey Road, where the magic really, really happens. Let’s try something out”.
The link-up represents a significant bridge between the worlds of elite football and Afrobeats. Saka, who has frequently spoken about his Nigerian heritage and his love for the culture, previously revealed that Afrobeats classics like Ice Prince’s “Oleku” were “certified anthems” at his family gatherings while growing up.
Arsenal captioned the post with just two words; “Landing soon”, fueling rumors that this could be part of a larger creative project or a high-profile marketing launch for the club.
A Big Month for Bukayo Saka
The teaser comes just weeks after Saka officially committed his long-term future to North London. The 24-year-old recently signed a record-breaking new contract that reportedly keeps him at the Emirates until 2031, placing him among the Premier League’s elite earners.
I feel immense joy to continue my journey at this club, I believe the next few years are going to be the years that we get over the line, and we’re able to win trophies and make history.
Whether Saka is making his debut on a Tems track or headlining a new creative campaign, one thing is certain: Arsenal’s No. 7 is winning both on and off the pitch.
