Chelsea continued their perfect Conference League record with a 3-0 win over Legia Warszawa in the quarterfinals’ first leg.
Despite dominating possession in the first half, the Blues struggled to break down Legia’s low defensive block, failing to score for a seventh straight game.

The second half was a different story. Reece James’s shot was mishandled by Legia goalkeeper Kacper Tobiasz, allowing 19-year-old Tyrique George to score his first professional goal.
More Tobiasz mistakes led to Noni Madueke doubling Chelsea’s lead, and despite Christopher Nkunku missing a penalty, Jadon Sancho and Madueke combined for Chelsea’s third goal.
The second half showcased the significant quality gap between the teams, with Chelsea overpowering Legia. The convincing win will allow Chelsea to rotate their squad in the return leg next week, focusing on their Premier League campaign.
