Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey played a path in Fulham’s impressive win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

While Iwobi made way for one of the goalscorers in the match, Bassey was outstanding in defense for the visitors.

Bassey alongside Danish defender Joachim Andersen helped neutralized Leicester City’s offense in the victory.

The Super Eagles midfielder almost got another goal but his long range strike came off the cross bar on the 36th minute.

Leicester City ended the first half with two shots on target while the visitors had none.

However, the visitors registered their first shot on target three minutes into the second half and it landed in the back of the net.

Sasa Lukic found Emilw Smith-Rowe in space with a header and the former Arsenal midfielder placed a header past the goalkeeper to put the Cottagers ahead.

Adama Traore who replaced Iwobi doubled Fulham’s lead on the 68th minute as he met Harry Wilson’s cross with a sublime strike.

Fulham’s win further cements Leicester City’s place in the relegation zone as the Foxes drop to 19th place in the log.

Ruud Van Nisterooy’s side have now lost seven consecutive Premier League matches.
