Lille pressed hard but wasted chances, with Félix Correia missing from close range. Frustrated, coach Bruno Genesio was sent off after angrily confronting officials.
Earlier, Nice’s struggles deepened after a late Jean-Philippe Krasso penalty saw them held 1-1 by Paris FC.
Sofiane Diop’s opener briefly lifted spirits, but Nice have now won just two of nine in all competitions. The game was twice halted over homophobic chants from sections of the home crowd.
Elsewhere, Brest won 2-0 at Angers, Metz drew 0-0 with Le Havre, while PSG’s 2-0 win over Auxerre was marred by fresh injuries to Vitinha and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
