The Reds opened the scoring in the 34th minute when Mohamed Salah capitalized on a counter-attack, slotting home after a precise pass from Curtis Jones.
Lille equalized in the 62nd minute through Jonathan David, who found the net following a defensive lapse.
However, Liverpool regained the lead just five minutes later. A corner from Kostas Tsimikas found Harvey Elliott, whose deflected shot beat the Lille goalkeeper, securing the 2-1 victory.
This victory propels Liverpool to the top of their Champions League group, securing their place in the last 16. They will face PSV Eindhoven in their final group-stage match.
