Atalanta and Nigeria winger, Ademola Lookman narrowly missed out on a place in the UEFA Champions League team of the week.
The 26 year old once again put in a stellar performance as he played 85 minutes scoring one goal as he steered his side to victory in a 2-0 win away to Stuttgart with the oother goal courtesy of Nicolo Zaniolo.
In a post made by the UEFA Champions League social media accounts, the 14th-placed Ballon D’Or nominee was snubbed in favour of the likes of hat-trick heroes, Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP and Luis Diaz of Liverpool in attack.

This however will not deter Lookman who is in running for the CAF Player of the Year award which will be announced on December 16, 2024.
