Ademola Lookman scored his fourth league goal of the season in Atletico Madrid’s final home game of the season.
The Nigerian forward scored the only goal of the match as the Rojiblancos sealed a 1-0 win at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
Lookman scored in the 21st minute with a simple finish from close range after receiving a pass from Antoine Griezmann.
Despite playing at home, Diego Simeone’s men were second best as Girona created most of the chances forwards goal.
