Goals from Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe and Arda Guler were enough as Real Madrid coasted to a comfortable 3-0 win against Girona on Saturday night.
There was little to no chances until the half hour mark when Madrid applied pressure and the opening goal came in the 36th minute. Bellingham fired a first time shot past the legs of Paulo Gazzaniga after a failed clearance by Miguel Gutierrez to give Madrid the advantage going into half time.
Bellingham turned provider ten minutes into the second half, delivering a decent ball to Arda Guler who held off Miguel Gutierrez to tuck his shot into the bottom corner.
Mbappe then added further gloss shortly after the hour mark, blasting a finish beyond Gazzaniga from a tight angle for his ninth league goal of the season.
With this victory, Carlo Ancelotti’s side are second in LaLiga, two points behind the leaders and with a game in hand.
