Manchester City have qualified for the second round of the FIFA Club World Cup after a comprehensive win over Al Ain.

Al Ain came into the match looking for redemption after a 5-0 loss to Juventus in their opening match.
However, the Citizens put them in further misery in a one-sided match at the Mercedes Benz Stadium.
Ilkay Gundogan, 19-year-old Claudio Echeverri, and Erling Haaland’s penalty on added time of the first half gave City a three-goal lead before the break.
Gundogan bagged his brace in the 72nd minute, while substitutes Oscar Bobb and new arrival Ryan Cherki (debut goal), got on the scoresheet.
Manchester City will take on Juventus who are also yet to concede a goal, in their final group match as they look to top Group G
