AFCON 2025
The quarter-finals draw of the 2025/2026 FQ Cup has been decided and the biggest tie of the round is obviously Manchester versus Liverpool.
Manchester City progressed to the last eight with a convincing 3-1 win over Newcastle United at St James’s Park.
Liverpool on the other hand got revenge over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux to book their spot in the quarter-finals.
Both sides last met in the semi–finals of the 2021/2022 season with Liverpool claiming a 3-2 victory at Wembley. In other fixtures in the round, Chelsea is up against League 1 side Port Vale, Southampton is up against Arsenal, while the winner between West Ham United and Brentford will host Leeds United.
The fixtures are scheduled for the first week of April in a single-leg match to determine the semi-finalists.
