Manchester City are back in the top four after a slim win over Tottenham Hotspur Hotspur away from home.

The Cityzens reclaimed the fourth spot 24 hours after Chelsea claim the position with the win over Southampton on Tuesday.

Erling Haaland’s first half goal made the difference on the night as Pep Guardiola’s men secured maximum points.

Haaland gave Manchester City the lead 12 minutes into the match as buried the ball nicely into back of the net from Jeremy Doku’s pass.

Guglielmo Vicario stood firm in between the sticks as he saved Haaland’s volley from point blank range.

Son Hueng-Min missed Tottenham’s best chance in the night came late in the game.
