Manchester United prime target Matheus Cunha has equalled Gabriel Martinelli and Roberto Firmino’s Premier League goals record.
Former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino and Arsenal winger hold the joint record of Premier League goals scored by a Brazilian in a single campaign.
Firmino achieved the feat during the 2017/2018 season while Gabriel Martinelli equalled the record in the 2022/2023 campaign.
Matheus Cunha has now equalled the record as he scored his 15th goal of the season for Wolves.
The Brazilian attacking midfielder linked to Manchester United scored the first goal in the win over Leicester City at the Molineaux on Saturday evening.
Cunha also provided thw assist to Jorgen Strand Larsen’s goal as the Norwegian striker doubled the lead.
