Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu has unveiled a formidable 24-player squad for the 13th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, running from July 5 to 26.
Leading the charge for Nigeria’s quest for a record-extending 10th title is six-time African Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala, who returns alongside captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and veteran forward Francisca Ordega.

The squad blends seasoned stars like Michelle Alozie, Ashleigh Plumptre, and Osinachi Ohale with dynamic midfielders Jennifer Echegini, Deborah Abiodun, and the returning Halimatu Ayinde.
Three home-based players—goalkeeper Rachael Unachukwu and defenders Sikiratu Isah and Miracle Usani—earned spots, showcasing Madugu’s faith in domestic talent.
