Ruben Amorim seems to be in a relaxed mood as he made a jest at unarguably his most important asset – Bruno Fernandes, ahead of tomorrow’s Europa League final against Tottenham.
Ruben Amorim made jest of Fernandes while the duo responded to questions from journalists during the press briefing at the San Mames Stadium on Tuesday evening.
When asked if he’s grateful that he’s not under the same pressure as Ange Postecoglou.
Bruno Fernandes interrupts the reporter and jokes – “He is! Who told you he’s not, he is!”
Ruben Amorim laughed and told journalists, “He wants my job!” He (Fernandes) will be a very good coach but he needs to work on his mindset, he doesn’t know how to deal with people”
Amorim went on to say he can’t tell if he’s privileged not to be under pressure like Ange Postecoglu even though Manchester United and Tottenham have had a poor season ahead of the final.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will hope to redeem their season with the Europa League as they face off at the San Mames on Wednesday night.
