Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has expressed his displeasure at Ruben Amorim over the limited number of minutes he got in the Europa League final.

Garnacho came on as a second half substitute and registered a shot on target in the 1-0 loss to Tottenham at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao on Wednesday night.

The winger says he’s bemused at Amorim’s decision to leave him on the bench despite playing a significant role en route to the final.

“Until the final, I played every round helping the team… then the final arrives and I play 20 minutes?! I don’t know”. The final, the season, the whole situation of the club… I will try to enjoy the summer and then we will see what happens”.

“It’s difficult for all of us. This season has been shit. We lost the final, we didn’t beat anyone in PL. It’s very difficult”.

Alejandro Garnacho scored one goal and provided four assits in 15 matches in Manchester United’s Europa League run.
