Super Eagles of Nigeria winger Moses Simon is ready to lead the team to victory in their upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The Super Eagles take on the Mediterranean Knights of Libya in a doubleheader pivotal to their AFCON 2025 qualification hopes.

Moses Simon warns Super Eagles

According to Simon, the Super Eagles cannot afford to underestimate the Mediterranean Knights when they match up.

He believes that the days off minnow that are easily defeated are gone on the African continent.

In an interview with Onrise TV, Simon stated that the game against Libya would not be an easy one.

He said, “A lot people will say the game will be easy but we all know no game is easy in Africa even at your club.

“We just need to fight and try to do our best to have the victory.”

Simon is expected to come off the bench for Augustine Eguaovoen’s side in the game against Libya.

The Super Eagles are top of Group D a point ahead of the Cheetah of Benin Republic, while the Amavubi of Rwanda are third with Libya bottom of the group.
