The Super Eagles winger’s brilliant individual stunning strike against Rennes in December 2024 is in contention to win the accolade.

He breezed past a few defenders in Rennes box before powering a right-footed shot into the top-right corner.

Simon’s 89th minute standser secured the win for Nantes over Rennes on match day 14 of the Ligue 1.
