Nigerian winger Moses Usor helped LASK secure the Austrian Cup after a dramatic 4-2 extra-time victory over Altach, ending the club’s 61-year wait for a major trophy.
Usor continued his fine form by scoring in his third straight game, cancelling out Altach’s early opener just six minutes after they had taken the lead.
The goal also marked the Nigerian’s 14th strike of the season for LASK across all competitions.
Altach restored their advantage in the 30th minute through Vesel Demaku and went into the break leading 2-1.
LASK responded strongly in the second half, with Samuel Adeniran scoring the equaliser in the 66th minute to force extra time after both sides failed to produce a winner in normal time.
In extra time, LASK completed the comeback as George Bello and Adeniran grabbed two more goals to seal a memorable 4-2 win.
The triumph sees Usor become the second Nigerian player in recent seasons to win the Austrian Cup, following Chibuike Nwaiwu, who claimed the title in the 2024/25 campaign.
Usor was one of LASK’s standout performers throughout the competition, contributing 2 goals and 4 assists in 5 appearances.
