The star guard showcased his elite scoring ability, leadership, and efficiency, solidifying his place among the league’s best as the Thunder remain one of the top teams in the West.

The Rookie of the Month awards also recognized rising talent. In the Eastern Conference, Atlanta Hawks forward, Zaccharie Risacher claimed the honor for the second consecutive time.

Risacher had an outstanding month, including a career-high 36-point game against the Milwaukee Bucks and another stellar performance against the Memphis Grizzlies, where he recorded 27 points and four steals.

His contributions have been crucial for the rebuilding Hawks, who continue to integrate their young core into the system.

Meanwhile, in the Western Conference, San Antonio Spurs guard, Stephon Castle received his second Rookie of the Month award.

Castle has emerged as a bright spot for the Spurs, leading all eligible NBA rookies in scoring with 13.5 points per game.

His efforts during March, combined with his impressive showing at NBA All-Star Weekend, where he was named the Rising Stars MVP, highlight his rapid development in his debut season.

In the Eastern Conference, Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels earned his second Defensive Player of the Month award this season.

Over 14 games, Daniels led the league with averages of 3.3 steals, 5.4 deflections, and 3.1 forced turnovers per game, contributing significantly to the Hawks’ 9-5 record during the month.

In the Western Conference, Golden State Warriors forward, Draymond Green was honored for his defensive prowess.

Green anchored the Warriors’ defense, which ranked fourth in the league with a defensive rating of 109.7. He averaged 1.9 steals and contested 9.1 shots per game, primarily playing as a small-ball center.

A highlight of his month was limiting Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo to 0-of-7 shooting in a critical matchup.
