The Dallas Mavericks easily defeated the Orlando Magic 108-85 thanks to an incredible effort by Slovenian basketball maestro Luka Doncic, who finished with 32 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.
The Mavericks led 30–22 at the half behind 14 points from Doncic in the first quarter.
Leading 65–40 at the half, Doncic had five three-pointers and was up to 25 points.
Dallas had a season-high 18 points from Daniel Gafford, 17 from Kyrie Irving, and 11 points and 11 rebounds from Dereck Lively II.

In New Orleans, the Atlanta Hawks defeated the injury-plagued Pelicans 126-111, with Jalen Johnson scoring 29 points and Trae Young contributing 23 points, four rebounds, 12 assists, and a steal.
The Detroit Pistons defeated the Brooklyn Nets 106-92 for their second win of the season.
For the first time this season, every Pistons starter scored in double digits, with Cade Cunningham leading Detroit with 19 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
