Global football icon Cristiano Ronaldo and his wife Georgina Rodríguez, a model and social media influencer have addressed the possibility of having more children in the future, with both suggesting the door remains open despite already raising a large family together.
The comments come just days after the couple confirmed they had married in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on August 11, capping a decade-long relationship. Their five children were present for the intimate occasion.
Ronaldo, when asked about adding more children to the family, kept his response brief but telling. “I never say never,” he said, leaving room for the possibility without committing to any timeline.
Georgina offered a more detailed perspective, acknowledging the practical challenges of adding another child to their household at this stage. “Another baby now would be overbooking at home,” she said, explaining that their current circumstances make the idea difficult to consider in the immediate future.
However, she pointed to a future window when the timing might work better. “When the youngest are 15 or 16, we’ll still be young, so why not?” she said, suggesting that as their older children grow into their teenage years, she and Ronaldo could still be in a position to welcome another child.
Georgina also spoke about her attachment to having young children around, describing it as central to how she sees her life unfolding. “I can’t imagine myself without small children, so we’ll see,” she said.
The newlyweds already share a blended family. Ronaldo is the father of Cristiano Jr., twins Eva and Mateo, and Alana Martina, whom he shares with Georgina, as well as Bella Esmeralda, Georgina’s youngest daughter.
