Brazilian forward Neymar has expressed interest in reuniting with his former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez at Inter Miami.
In a recent interview with CNN’s Amanda Davies, Neymar stated, “Obviously, playing again with Messi and Suárez would be incredible. They are my friends; we still speak to each other. It would be interesting to revive this trio.”
Neymar, currently with Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, has faced injury challenges, limiting his appearances since joining in 2023. His contract with Al-Hilal is set to expire in June 2025, and while he expressed happiness in Saudi Arabia, he acknowledged the unpredictable nature of football, stating, “Who knows. Football is full of surprises.”
The trio, famously known as “MSN,” achieved significant success at Barcelona, including a historic treble in the 2014-2015 season. Messi and Suárez have since reunited at Inter Miami, leading the team to a Supporters’ Shield victory and setting a record for most regular-season points in MLS history.
Neymar also revealed his intention to make the 2026 World Cup his final appearance on the world stage, stating, “I know this will be my last World Cup, my last shot, my last chance, and I will do everything I can to play in it.”
As his contract with Al-Hilal approaches its end, speculation about Neymar’s next move is intensifying, with fans eagerly anticipating the potential revival of the legendary “MSN” trio in Major League Soccer.
